Inilah Pemenang People's Choice Awards 2012
Ajang People's Choice Awards (PCA) kembali digelar di Los Angeles, Rabu malam, 11 Januari 2012 waktu setempat. Sekuel terakhir 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' sukses memborong empat penghargaan, termasuk kategori film terbaik.
Selain film 'Harry Potter', penyanyi Katy Perry juga menjadi jawara dalam acara tersebut dengan meraih lima penghargaan, termasuk artis musik wanita terbaik dan lagu terfavorit. Meski demikian, Perry tidak hadir untuk menerima langsung piala setelah membatalkan penampilannya di acara itu beberapa hari lalu.
Seperti halnya Perry, para bintang 'Harry Potter' juga tidak terlihat menghadiri acara tersebut. Artis lainnya yang berhasil meraih penghargaan di ajang ini antara lain aktor Johnny Depp untuk kategori aktor terbaik dan aktris Emma Stone yang meraih penghargaan sebagai aktris komedi terfavorit.
"Saya pindah ke LA delapan tahun lalu pada pekan yang sama sekarang bersama ibu saya dan sangat gila bisa berdiri di sini sekarang," ujar Stone saat menerima penghargaan seperti dikutip dari laman Reuters.
Sementara itu film 'Water for Elephants' yang dibintangi Robert Pattinson sukses meraih penghargaan untuk kategori film drama terfavorit. Berbeda dengan Oscar dan Golden Globes, para pemenang People's Choice Awards ditentukan berdasarkan pilihan penggemar. Berikut daftar pemenang People's Choice Awards 2012:
